Puppy Class

For puppies 8 to 20 weeks old

Pre-requisites: None

Gain all the necessary life-skills to set your new puppy up for success. In this class you will learn the basics of how dogs think, what positive reinforcement is, and how to use a clicker in your training.

We will go over everything from your basic sit and down positions to loose leash walking, recall, and working around distractions. We talk about real world scenarios where these skills are useful and tips for the common puppy troubles such as potty training, crate training, teething, jumping, socialization, and more

Class is $160 + tax for 5 weeks

Registration includes a clicker and training handouts.

Adult dog group class

For Dogs Over 20 Weeks of Age

Pre-requisites: None

Our Adult obedience class is a 6 week class for dogs of all ages, it serves as a foundation class for adults and it also the perfect follow-up class for the puppies who completed puppy obedience to further their skills.

Our obedience program consists of a human-only orientation class where we will set you up for success as a dog handler and trainer. We will go over basic dog training theory, clicker training, discuss specific behaviors you want to work on, chat about a dog’s physical as well as mental needs, and give you some exercises to practice with your dog at home before you bring in your pup for the following week.

In weeks 2 to 6 with the pups we will work on foundation skills like attention (focus), loose leash walking, recall, settle (down-stay), and place with plenty of distractions.

Cost: $220 + tax for 6 weeks

Intro to nose work

For Dogs 6 Months +

Prerequisites

-Dogs must be able to pay attention to their handler in a distracting environment

-Dogs should have attended our Mind Your Manners program or an equivalent program

-Dogs must be able to rest in a crate, vehicle or calmly on a mat while waiting for their turn to search

Canine Nose Work brings out and uses your dogs natural hunting instincts. Dogs have an incredible sense of smell and harnessing this instinct is very mentally and physically satisfying for your dog. This introductory class teaches our dogs the game of searching using food and boxes. The class runs for 4 weeks at an hour each. Dogs take turns searching one at a time

The cost of the class is $180 + tax.
